Non-toxic cleaners
- Window Washing Solution: ½ cup ammonia, 1/8 cup vinegar, 1 quart warm
water. (also good on mirrors)
- Painted wall, woodwork, and Venetian blind washing solution: ½ cup
ammonia, ½ cup vinegar, ¼ cup baking soda, 1 gallon warm water.
- To remove paint stains from glass: wipe with hot vinegar.
- Mild cleaner for waxed surfaces: 1 gallon hot water, ¼ cup sudsy
ammonia, ¼ cup vinegar, 1 tablespoon baking soda.
- To remove labels from glass jars and plastics use warm salad oil.
